titleOfInvention | DEVICE FOR CONTROLLED COLD APPLICATION |
abstract | 1. Cannula-shaped device (1) for locally controlled application of cold to the patient's anorectal duct, comprising a slightly frusto-conically shaped main element (2) and a head (3) that functions as a stop , the union being made between the main element (2) and the head (3) by means of a transition zone (4), this transition zone (4) being concave in shape that makes the pressure of the patient's sphincter maintain the device (1) in its ideal position 2. Device (1) according to claim 1, in which the transition zone (4) has a circular concave shape. 3. Device (1) according to any of the previous claims, made of plastic material. 4. Device (1) according to any of the preceding claims, comprising within it a substance (10) capable of being cooled. 5. Device (1) according to claim 4, in which the substance (10) comprises propylene glycol. 6. Device (1) according to any of the preceding claims, in which the transition zone (4) comprises smooth rounded edges (5). 7. Device (1) according to any of the preceding claims, in which the main element (2) comprises on its exterior a lubricating substance. Device (1) according to claim 7, wherein the lubricating substance is neutral cylindrical petrolatum. |
