titleOfInvention Device for non-contact measurement of blood glucose
abstract Device for measuring blood glucose in a live subject, comprising an antenna (1) intended to be placed close to the live subject, an electronic unit (2) for supplying power to the antenna (1) and measuring a feedback signal from the antenna (1). The antenna (1, 1') comprises: - a transmission line (10, 10') which extends over a first surface (11) or a second surface (12) of a flat dielectric substrate and is connected to the electronic unit (2); - an earth plane (13) extending over at least one part of the second surface (12) of the substrate; - at least one resonator (14) extending over the first surface (11) close to the transmission line (10, 10'); the electronic unit (2) being provided to supply the antenna (1) with a signal at a predetermined frequency of between 0.9 and 1.6 GHz, measure a feedback signal, determine the electrical characteristics of the antenna (1) and infer a blood glucose level in the live subject therefrom.
