titleOfInvention Amino acid sequences of recombinant flaviviral proteins and recombinant flaviviral virus-like particles, their medical use in the prevention of zika virus infection and for in vitro diagnosis
abstract The invention relates to the amino acid sequences of individual recombinant Zika virus proteins or recombinant virus-like particles comprising at least two fragments of Zika virus proteins. In both types of sequence, the E structural protein or only the cytoplasmic domain of E protein and / or the prM structural protein were used. Moreover, in some sequences, the fragment of tick-borne encephalitis virus E protein was used. The invention in the form of amino acid sequences of recombinant proteins or recombinant virus-like particles has a potential therapeutic use to prevent Zika virus infection as an immunogenic component for the preparation of vaccines. The invention in the form of recombinant proteins or recombinant virus-like particles with amino acid sequences according to the invention can be used as an in vitro diagnostic antigen for the detection of flavivirus infections, in particular Zika virus, tick-borne encephalitis virus and Dengue virus as a component of diagnostic tests.
