titleOfInvention |
Amino acid sequences of recombinant flaviviral proteins and recombinant flaviviral virus-like particles, their medical use in the prevention of zika virus infection and for in vitro diagnosis |
abstract |
The invention relates to the amino acid sequences of individual recombinant Zika virus proteins or recombinant virus-like particles comprising at least two fragments of Zika virus proteins. In both types of sequence, the E structural protein or only the cytoplasmic domain of E protein and / or the prM structural protein were used. Moreover, in some sequences, the fragment of tick-borne encephalitis virus E protein was used. The invention in the form of amino acid sequences of recombinant proteins or recombinant virus-like particles has a potential therapeutic use to prevent Zika virus infection as an immunogenic component for the preparation of vaccines. The invention in the form of recombinant proteins or recombinant virus-like particles with amino acid sequences according to the invention can be used as an in vitro diagnostic antigen for the detection of flavivirus infections, in particular Zika virus, tick-borne encephalitis virus and Dengue virus as a component of diagnostic tests. |
