titleOfInvention Process for preparing a broken-up, cellulose-containing, starting material with a predefined fibre-length distribution
abstract A process is described for preparing a broken-up, cellulose-containing starting material (110), in particular, a starting material for forming a cellulose shaped body (102), in particular, a regenerated cellulose shaped body. The process comprises: i) supplying a cellulose-containing starting material (101) which contains cellulose fibres, and breaking up (20) the cellulose-containing starting material (101) to obtain the broken-up cellulose-containing starting material (110) such that the cellulose fibres of the broken-up cellulose-containing starting material (110) have a predefined fibre-length distribution. Also described is a process for producing a cellulose shaped body (102), a broken-up, cellulose-containing starting material (110), and the use of recycled textiles.
