abstract |
The invention relates to the use of a composition comprising (a) 0.01 - 0.3 wt.-% chlorhexidine, (b) 0.02 - 0.2 wt.-% cetylpyridinium chloride and (c) 0.1 - 1.0 wt.-% of a surface active agent in water as antiviral agent in the oral cavity. The invention further relates to a process for reducing the number of active viruses in the oral cavity, comprising administering to the oral cavity an effective amount of the composition. |
