abstract |
An aerosol-generating article (10)(70) comprises: a tubular carrier element (12) defining a longitudinally extending internal cavity (18); and a layer of an aerosol-generating film (14) applied to a portion of an inner surface of the tubular carrier element (12), such that an outer surface of the aerosol-generating film (14) is exposed to the internal cavity (18) of the tubular carrier element (12), wherein the aerosol-generating film comprises at least 25 percent by weight of a polyhydric alcohol and wherein the thickness of the layer of the aerosol-generating film is between 0.05 millimetres and 1.0 millimetre. |
