Process for preparing a biomass photocatalyst support with TiO 2 / M x O y nanocrystals, of at least nanometric size and active in photocatalysis at least in the visible range, comprising the following sub-steps: a) preparation and heating of an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid at a given pH, between 0 and 6, and at a temperature between 20 and 60 ° C, without surfactant, b) addition of the titanium oxide precursor, or of the mixture of the titanium oxide precursor TiO 2 and at least one other precursor of another oxide M x O y , composed of 80 to 100% by moles of TiO 2 and from 0% to 20% by moles of another metal or semi-metal oxide M x O y , to the acidic aqueous solution, a precipitate then forming, and stirring of the acidic aqueous reaction medium, so as to dissolve the precipitate; c) a step of immersing the support in the acidic aqueous reaction medium, d) a step of heating the acidic aqueous reaction medium, the support making it possible to crystallize the titanium oxide precursors, or of the mixture of the titanium oxide precursor and at least one other precursor of the other metal or semi-metal oxide, e) an optional step of rinsing with water and a step of recovering the biomass support with the TiO 2 / M x O y nanocrystals, attached by covalent bonds to the biomass support. |
