titleOfInvention | Venous and arterial application of the unitary stent & balloon |
abstract | The invention includes an expandable stent having a portion that when, has a portion with an non-constant radius, but instead grows with respect with the length. The growth is preferred to be so that r4/L is constant, where r is the radius, and 1 is the length of the portion to that respective radius. The invention includes sheaths or grafts that will encase the stent to restrict the growth of the stent to the desired envelope.. The invention also includes expandable stent balloons to expand the stent to the desired shape configuration. The balloons can include a similar sheath or sleeve to restrict its growth. The growth can be piecewise, and is not necessarily forth order growth, but can be first order - a third order polynomial. |
