abstract An autonomous apparatus (1) for growing photosynthetic microorganisms, comprising a culture tank (10) configured to contain photosynthetic microorganisms immersed in an aquatic environment, said culture tank (10) consisting of a hollow main body (12) extending along a longitudinal axis (13) and a base (14) attachable to a first end (121) of the main body (12), wherein the base (14) comprises at least one drainage opening (141) for the release of the content of the culture tank (10), a lid (20) attachable to a second end (122) of the main body (12) provided with at least one inlet opening (22) for introducing water, a compression unit (30) coupled to the base (14) of the culture tank (10) for introducing at least one pressurised gas flow into the culture tank (10), and a control unit (40) for managing the operation of the apparatus (1) according to a set programming, wherein the apparatus also comprises first lighting means (50), insertable inside the culture tank (10), and second lighting means (60), positioned outside the culture tank (10) along the main body (12), to homogeneously light the microorganisms during the growth phase.
