abstract |
In one aspect, an article (30a) includes a first sleeve (72) formed from a first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet (40a), the first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet (40a) having opposed first (58) and second (59) edges, wherein the first sleeve (72) is formed with a first seam (60) proximate the first edge (58). A portion (78) of the first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet (40a) extends between the first sleeve (72) and the second edge (59). A tag (38a) is bonded to the portion (78) of the first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet (40a) proximate the second edge (59) at a first overlap zone of the tag (38a) and the portion (78) of the first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet (40a). In another aspect, an article (30h) includes a heat-shrinkable polymer sheet (40h) and a tag (38h) bonded to the sheet (40h). The heat-shrinkable polymer sheet (40h) has a central area (84) and a plurality of slits (68) disposed through the sheet (40h), at least one of the plurality of slits (68) oriented to partially surround the central area (84). |
