abstract |
A method of processing ocular imaging data to evaluate a conversion factor for calculating a distance between features in an imaged region of a portion of an eye, comprising: obtaining (S10) from the imaging data a value of a scan parameter indicating a scan location in the portion of a scan performed by an imaging apparatus to acquire an image of the imaged region; using (S20) the recorded value of the scan parameter, and a mapping between scan parameter values and respective conversion factor values, each conversion factor value indicating a simulated rate of change of distance across the portion with the scan parameter for the respective scan parameter value, to determine a respective value of the conversion factor for converting a distance between pixels in the image to a distance between corresponding locations in the region; and storing (S30) the image in association with the determined conversion factor value. |
