abstract | The present invention relates to a process for the dechlorination of one or more aromatic organochlorine compound (s) contained in an oil or constituting said oil, the said organochlorine compound (s) (s) aromatic (s) being chosen, in particular, from molecules comprising two or three benzene rings and in which at least one benzene ring or all of the benzene rings are substituted by at least one chlorine atom, in particular the polychlorinated biphenyls and polychlorinated terphenyls, according to which said oil is irradiated with radiation having wavelengths equal to or greater than 300 nm, in particular with radiation having wavelengths equal to or greater than 320 nm and in particular with radiation having wavelengths equal to or greater than 320 nm and equal to or less than 390nm, without any additions before and during irradiation, said irradiation being carried out by maintaining the temperature of said oil at a value i n less than or equal to a given threshold value.n n n The present invention also relates to an installation and an associated electrical / electronic device. |
