The invention relates to a method for treating and examining a powder by means of instrumental analysis, comprising the steps of: generating at least one two-dimensional graphic representation (REM, 6) of an initial small amount (4) of powder granules (43) of the powder (2); determining and outputting at least one initial powder granule structural parameter (14) based on the at least one two-dimensional graphic representation (6) of the initial small amount (4); producing (200) a solid body (10), comprising a statistically validatable powder representation (5) of the totality of the powder granules of the powder (2); graphically representing (CT, 30) the solid body (10), wherein at least one imaging parameter and/or at least one image recording setting is adjusted based on the at least one initial powder granule structural parameter (23); determining and outputting at least one characteristic value (20) of the statistically validatable powder representation (5) of the powder granules (44) of the powder (2) by evaluating the at least one graphic, in particular computer tomographic representation (CT, 30) of the solid body. |
