abstract | The present invention relates to a composition for the production of an anti-drumming compound comprising or consisting of a) a first monomer comprising at least two epoxy groups, b) a second monomer comprising at least two carboxylic acid groups or at least one carboxylic acid anhydride group, c) a catalyst that initiates a chemical reaction between the first and the second monomer catalyzes and d) at least one filler. The present invention also relates to an anti-drumming compound produced from a composition according to the invention, a use of a composition according to the invention as an acoustically damping material, for example in vehicle or device construction. The present invention also relates to a method for applying a composition according to the invention to a substrate. |
