abstract |
Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for UE power control for multiple uplink carriers. One apparatus 700 includes a transceiver 725 that receives 805 a configuration of a plurality of uplink carriers for a serving cell. The apparatus includes a processor 705 that calculates 810 a total transmit power for uplink transmissions on the plurality of uplink carriers, the uplink transmissions overlapping in time. The processor 705 determines 815 a configured maximum output power and identifies 820 a lower priority uplink carrier of the plurality of uplink carriers according to a priority rule in response to the uplink transmissions having the same priority level. The processor 705 reduces 825 transmission power for the lower priority uplink carrier in response to the total transmit power exceeding the configured maximum output power in any part of the overlapping uplink transmissions. The transceiver 725 performs 830 uplink transmission using the reduced transmit power. |
