titleOfInvention Tissue retraction device and delivery system
abstract Medical devices and methods of using medical devices are disclosed. An example tissue retraction delivery device includes a positioning assembly, the assembly including: a delivery catheter having a distal end region and a lumen extending therein, wherein the distal end region includes an engagement member orienting tip. The delivery device also includes an actuation catheter extending within at least a portion of the delivery catheter, the actuation catheter including a distal end region and a lumen extending therein. An actuation wire extends within the lumen of the actuation catheter, the actuation wire having a proximal end region and a distal end region. An end effector is coupled to the distal end region of the actuation wire, the end effector configured to capture an engagement member of a tissue retraction device, wherein manipulation of the actuation wire shifts the end effector from a first position to a second closed position.
