abstract |
An internal combustion engine (100) provided with an engine body (1), a filter (34) provided in an exhaust passage of the engine body (1) and trapping PM in the exhaust, and an aggregating device (35) charging PM in the exhaust flowing into the filter (34) to make it aggregate. The control device (200) for controlling the internal combustion engine (100) is provided with a PM charging control part controlling the amount of charging of the PM in the exhaust flowing into the filter (34). The PM charging control part controls the aggregating device (35) so that the amount of charging of the PM becomes smaller when the amount of PM buildup of the filter (34) is large compared with when it is small. |
