abstract The present invention provides: an agent having an FB ratio reducing effect in the intestines (intestinal FB ratio reducing agent) and being suitable for use in food/beverage products; and a food product composition for FB ratio reduction containing the agent. The intestinal FB ratio reducing agent of the present invention is one containing yeast mannan, and the food product composition of the present invention for FB ratio reduction is one containing the intestinal FB ratio reducing agent. The term "FB ratio" herein may be defined as [(occupancy of bacteria belonging to phylum Firmicutes)/(occupancy of bacteria belonging to phylum Bacteroidetes)], or as [(total occupancy of bacteria belonging to class Clostridia and bacteria belonging to class Erysipelotrichia among bacteria belonging to phylum Firmicutes)/(occupancy of bacteria belonging to class Bacteroidia among bacteria belonging to phylum Bacteroidetes)].
