abstract The present invention relates to a diene polymer comprising at least one specific epoxide pendent group, one of the carbon atoms of which both has an attachment to the polymer chain and is a trisubstituted carbon, and the other carbon atom of which is an at least trisubstituted carbon. The introduction of such a polymer, in particular elastomer, into a rubber composition makes it possible to improve the properties at break of said composition, without being to the detriment of the hysteresis properties thereof, while at the same time improving the processing thereof.
