The invention relates to a food composition for 3D printing, comprising a first component 1 which can be printed with a 3D printer 2 into a self-supporting food body 3 that is self-supporting up to a temperature of 50 °C, and a second component 4,5 that is a viscoelastic fluid in the temperature range of from 4 °C to 40 °C, wherein the self-supporting food body 3 is a dough that can be hardened by baking at a temperature ≥ 60°C to provide a solid food body 6.
