The invention relates to novel strains comprising microorganisms isolated from microorganisms / microbial assemblies, as well as compositions comprising them. In addition, the invention relates to methods of using said microorganisms, microbial assemblies and compositions comprising them, according to methods for modulating poultry production, disease resistance and egg production rate. In particular aspects, the invention relates to methods of increasing food processing capacity, and methods of preventing colonization by pathogenic microbes. |
