The invention relates to a new use of ultrafine nanoparticles, useful as a diagnostic, therapeutic or theranostic agent, characterized by their mode of administration by the airways. The invention is also aimed at the applications resulting from this new mode of administration, in particular for imaging the lungs, and the diagnosis or prognosis of pulmonary pathologies. In the therapeutic field, the applications envisaged are those of radio-sensitizing or radioactive agents for radiotherapy (and possibly brachytherapy), for neutron therapy, agents for PDT (photodynamic therapy), in particular for the treatment of tumors of the lung. |
