abstract | The present invention relates to a polycarbonate composition and process for producing the same and molded articles. The polycarbonate composition according to the present invention comprises A) 8 to 70% by weight of a polycarbonate component, B) 90 to 90% by weight of a polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer component, C) a flame retardant component, which comprises 0 5 to 6% by weight of a cyclic phosphazene of formula (X), and D) an impact modifier component which comprises 0.5 to 6% by weight of methyl methacrylate-butadiene-styrene, the above weight percent being based on said polycarbonate composition which is 100% by weight. The polycarbonate composition according to the present invention has a high flame retardancy level, excellent low temperature impact resistance property and good heat resistance and is suitable for use case requirements for electrical appliances which have relatively high flame retardancy levels (such as UL94 5VB) and which require excellent low temperature impact resistance property. |
