abstract |
The invention relates to a coating composition which comprises a polymer having (i) a barrier segment provided with aromatic groups and urethane linkages, urea bonds or a corresponding combination and (ii) an elastomeric segment which is different from ( i). The barrier segment constitutes at least 30% by weight of the polymer based on the total weight of the solids of the polymer. In addition, the composition further comprises an adhesion promoter having: (a) at least one epoxy-functional polymer and a thiol-functional cross-linking agent reactive with the epoxy-functional polymer; and / or (b) a hydrazide-functional component. |
