abstract |
The invention relates to a method of isolating extracellular vesicles and identifying membrane proteins therefrom. The method comprises the use of plasma and / or human serum; separating extracellular lipoproteins and vesicles from plasma and / or human serum by a density gradient preparation; collection of extracellular vesicles from separated lipoproteins and extracellular vesicles; isolation and purification of the extracellular vesicles collected using an exclusion-diffusion chromatography; treating extracellular vesicles isolated and purified with an aqueous solution to obtain extracellular vesicle membranes, the aqueous solution having a pH of between 9 and 14; the addition of salt at a concentration of between 0.5 and 2.0 M in the aqueous solution; isolation of treated extracellular vesicle membranes and identification of proteins on isolated membranes by mass spectrometry. |
