The present invention relates to ethoxylate surfactant compounds of general formula (I) n n A-X-O-[CH 2 -CH 2 -O] n -R 1 , n nwherein A is a linear C 7 -C 33 -alkyl or -alkenyl residue, wherein one of the hydrogen atoms is substituted by residue -O-[CH 2 -CH 2 -O] m -R 2 , X is -CH 2 - or -CO-, R 1 is -H or -CH 3 , R 2 is -H or -CH 3 , and n+m = 4 to 40. Further, the invention relates to a process for synthesizing such surfactant compound, compositions comprising one or more surfactant compounds of the present invention and uses thereof. |
