abstract |
The present invention provides compositions, methods and kits for the reduction of protein aggregation. Specifically disclosed is a protein that is responsible for the aggregation resistance of polyglutamine and compositions comprising an isolated peptide that is capable of reducing aggregation, and methods and kits for the treatment of associated diseases protein aggregation, particularly polyglutamine disease, including Huntington's disease. This invention also relates to the amino acid sequence of the isolated peptide. |
