abstract The present invention relates to a method and a system for controlling the air climate in climatic housing for breeding insects. The system includes in association an air conditioning housing of insects and a ventilation system. The climatic housing for breeding insects comprises groups of one or more stacks of boxes with immature phases of insects, said stacks of boxes comprising at least two ventilation openings associated with each box. The aeration system includes an air control unit with a database. The database includes a reference table with conditioned air properties with respect to one or more input parameters. The aeration system further includes aeration devices connected to the air control unit adjacent to each stack of cases. The aeration devices comprise a plurality of outlet openings. The outlet openings are arranged to provide air currents on the immature phases of insects through the ventilation openings in each individual case. The method comprises the steps of recovering one or more input parameters for the air control unit per group of cases, determining, by the air control unit, air properties. condition of the air currents based on the recovered input parameter (s) and, for each individual group of cases separately, the setting by the air control unit of the determined conditioned air properties of the air conditioners.
