abstract |
Provided is a thermal transfer sheet capable of suppressing the thermal fusion between a transfer receiving article and a thermal transfer sheet even in the case where the amount of energy applied to the thermal transfer sheet is increased when the transfer layer is transferred onto the transfer receiving article. A thermal transfer sheet comprises a transfer layer provided on one surface of a substrate, wherein the transfer layer includes one or two or more layers, among the layers constituting the transfer layer, the layer located nearest the substrate comprises (1) a homopolymer of isobutyl (meth)acrylate or (2) a copolymer having a copolymerization ratio of isobutyl (meth)acrylate of 30% or more on a molar basis. |
