titleOfInvention Sulfur-crosslinkable rubber mixture
abstract The present invention relates to a sulfur crosslinkable rubber blend having a methylene donor-methylene donor pair. The invention further relates to a vehicle tire having at least one such cross-linkable rubber mixture with sulfur. In order to obtain a good adhesion on cords while improving the characteristics in terms of safety at work and environmental protection, the methylene acceptor is a novolac resin that is reactive with a methylene donor, this novolak resin having a free resorcin content of less than 5% by weight, or a precondensate containing a novolak resin having a free resorcin content of less than 5% by weight.
