abstract |
The present invention relates to a beverage component in the form of a micronised fruit pulp which comprises a micronized pomaceous fruit pomace, the fruit pulp having a total solids content of from 4 to 10% by weight; a total fiber content of from 2 to 6% by weight; and a particle size distribution, all particles having a size in the range of not more than 2100 μm; 90% of the particles have a particle size of less than 1700 μm; the particles have an average diameter of volume D [4.3] in the range of 580 to 960 μm; and the particles have a median diameter of volume D (v, 0.5) in the range of 470 to 980 μm. |
