Hydrophilic, moldable polymer blends and uses thereof |
abstract |
Disclosed is a hydrophilic polymeric material that is hydrophilic directly after being subjected to thermoforming processes such as injection molding and extrusion. The material according to the invention is a composite material based on polycaprolactam (PA6) or polycaprolactone (PCL) composed of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), the composite polymer according to the invention being very hydrophilic and being thermoformable depending on the type, quality and concentration of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), a lesser importance being conferred on the equilibrium polymer. |
