titleOfInvention | Novel fluorescence quenching probe for measuring nucleic acid |
abstract | The present invention provides a QProbe that can be fluorescently labeled at a lower cost. A nucleic acid probe labeled with a fluorescent dye whose emission is reduced when the probe is hybridized with a target nucleic acid is provided. The probe is labeled with a fluorescent dye at its 5' terminal site via an ssH amino linker as shown below or at its 3' terminal site via a CA amino linker as shown below. The base sequence of the nucleic acid probe is so designed that, when the probe is hybridized with a target nucleic acid, at least one G (guanine) exists in the base sequence of the target nucleic acid at a position 1 to 3 bases apart from the base at the terminal site where the probe and the target nucleic acid are hybridized with each other. |
