The present invention remates to the use of a foodstuff as part of a diet of a dog, the said foodstuff comprising feather hydrolysate for improving performance during exercise in a dog and/or improving recovery after each exercise in a dog, the said foodstuff comprising from 20% to 35% feather hydrolysate on a dry matter basis, and of 65%-80% hydrolysed carbohydrate on a dry matter basis, wherein the hydrolysed carbohydrate is maltodextrin. |
