abstract | The invention relates to a process for preparing a monolithic stationary phase, which comprises the preparation of a polymerizable composition and the polymerization thereof. According to the invention, the polymerizable composition comprises: - a first (meth)acrylate monomer chosen from ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, 1,4-butanediol diacrylate, triethylene glycol dimethacrylate and trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate, - a second (meth)acrylate monomer chosen from allyl methacrylate, glycidyl methacrylate, lauryl methacrylate, butyl methacrylate, 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, polyethylene glycol di(meth)acrylate, bisphenol A glycidyl methacrylate and hexyl acrylate - one or more pore-forming agents, and - a radical initiator. The invention also relates to a process for manufacturing a chromatography column comprising a monolithic stationary phase prepared by this process and also to an extraction process using such a chromatography column. |
