abstract The present invention relates to an antibody binding specifically to an N-terminal region of lysyl-tRNA synthetase which is exposed on the cell membrane and a use thereof and, more particularly, to an antibody having a certain complementary determining region (CDR) stipulated in the specification and binding specifically to an epitope including the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 97 in a lysyl-tRNA synthetase (KRS) N-terminal, or a fragment thereof, a use of the antibody or a fragment thereof in metastasis suppression and cancer diagnosis, and a pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of an immune cell migration-related disease. Far superior in specific binding affinity to a KRS N-terminal region exposed on the cell membrane, the antibody or fragments thereof according to the present invention are effective for cancer diagnosis, have anti-cancer and metastasis inhibition effects, and can be very useful for preventing or treating an immune cell migration-related disease.
