abstract The invention provides various exemplary embodiments of a hair information collection device for providing information relating to the hair of a user. The hair information collection device can comprise a device body having at least a first part and a second part, which are designed in such a way that the hair of the user can be moved between the first part and the second part while it is in contact with the first part and the second part; at least one microphone disposed in or on the device body for capturing a sound during a movement of the hair between the first part and the second part; a speed sensor circuit disposed in or on the device body, which comprises at least one sensor for obtaining a value representing a speed of the device body; and an electronic circuit device disposed in or on the device body, and wherein the electronic circuit device can be configured to provide the user with information relating to his/her hair based on the received captured sound and speed of the device body.
