abstract |
An implant (100; 300; 400) comprises a sensor system (104) for detecting electromagnetic waves and a data transmission unit (107) which can transmit data supplied by the sensor system (104) without contact to a receiver. The implant (100; 300; 400) is intended for implantation in a human or animal body. For the diagnosis and / or treatment of inflammatory tissue conditions in a tissue adjacent to the implant (100; 300; 400), electromagnetic waves can be detected by means of the sensor system (104) of the implant (100; 300; 400) whose properties depend on the state of the environment of the implant (100; 300; 400), in particular of the tissue adjacent to the implant (100; 300; 400). Data supplied by the sensor system (104) are transmitted contactlessly to the receiver by means of the data transmission unit (107). |
