abstract The greenhouse (1) comprises wall and ceiling regions (2, 3), which at least partly enclose an interior (4) extending along a longitudinal axis. At the ceiling region (3), a pick-up region (5) for picking up sunlight is formed, said pick-up region (5) extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis. In the interior (4) space for plants is available at least on one side of the longitudinal axis. A guide region (7) for introducing the sunlight into the interior (4) is adjacent to the pick-up region (5) toward the interior (4). In the interior (4) a reflective light deflecting device (8) extends substantially in the direction of the longitudinal axis, wherein the light deflecting device (8) comprises light reflecting partial regions (10, 11) and the surface normals to the surfaces of said partial regions (10) are aligned in predefined directions such that light entering through the guide region (7) is at least partly reflected by partial regions (10) such that it is directed transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis away from the light deflecting device (8) toward the at least one space for plants provided in the interior (4). In the simply constructed and efficient greenhouse, plants arranged one above another can be supplied with enough sunlight.
