Disclosed is a preparation for the interdental delivery of oral care agent. The preparation comprising one or more oral care agents contained in particles comprising an orally acceptable release matrix, wherein the particles are resiliently deformable and capable of being compressed so as to fit in an interdental space. The particles can thus be provided in a size slightly larger than that of an interdental space. By compression they can be inserted, particularly jetted, into interdental spaces, and their tendency to thereupon expand again provides a force retaining them in the space where they were applied, without being prone to washing away by saliva. |
