abstract | The present invention relates a process for obtaining biocide compounds derived fromsp. cultures, compositions and formulations thereof, and their use in conservation of objects of cultural heritage.The process of the present invention involves culturing and growing of threesp. strains under nutrient stress conditions to obtain an enhanced production of lipopeptides (LPPs) having biocide activity.Bioactive crude extracts of thesesp. cultures containing LPPs are disclosed herein and also bioactive compositions and formulations comprising said biocide compounds.Said bioactive compounds, compositions and formulations have application in control the biodegradation, biodeterioration and conservation of objects of cultural heritage.Therefore, the present invention is in the area of microbiology, cleaning of artworks, and conservation work of antique objects. |
