titleOfInvention | Aerosol generator |
abstract | An aerosol generator (1) having a working fluid container (4) and a nebulising chamber (2) associated therewith, which is connected to an inlet channel (10) for supplying carrier gas and to an outlet channel (12) for discharging carrier gas mixed with aerosol obtained from the active liquid is to be a particularly good adjustability of the droplet size of the aerosols contained in the emitted carrier gas and thus allow use just in the context of a transnasal inhalation therapy. According to the invention, the nebulizing chamber (2) has an essentially rotationally symmetrical boundary wall (8), wherein the inlet channel (10) is positioned and oriented in the nebulising chamber (2) in the region of its point of introduction in such a way that its longitudinal axis in the region of the junction point relative to the Symmetryeachse the misting chamber (2) is offset and the symmetry axis does not intersect. |
