titleOfInvention | High molecular weight polyoxyethylene with deep glass temperature made using the grafting through method |
abstract | A process for preparing polyoxyalkylene macromers comprising the step of reacting one or more H-functional starter substance (s), one or more alkylene oxides and carbon dioxide in the presence of a DMC catalyst is characterized in that at least one of the H-functional starter substance ( en) comprises a carbon-carbon double bond, wherein the carbon-carbon double bond is part of a cyclic structure. The resulting macromers can be used in a process for producing polyoxyalkylene brush polymers, which process comprises the step of reacting with an olefin metathesis catalyst. The resulting polyoxyalkylene brush polymers can then be crosslinked. |
