Method of controlling plastisol viscosity |
abstract |
Disclosed are PVC plastisols containing a plasticizer component comprising di(2-ethylhexyl)terephthalate (DEHT), dibutyl terephthalate (DBT), and an aliphatic plasticizer. The aliphatic plasticizer can be the reaction product of one or more aliphatic alcohols and one or more aliphatic diacids. Alternatively, the aliphatic plasticizer can be the reaction product of one or more aliphatic diols and an aliphatic carboxylic acid. Also disclosed is a process for making the PVC plastisols and articles made from the PVC plastisols. |
