abstract |
The invention concerns an imaging apparatus (1) comprising a radiation detector (20), a radiation source (10) and an anti-scattering element (30), all rotatably mounted about a first rotation axis. The anti-scattering element (30) is a solid having the shape of a three-dimensional spiral-shaped or spirangle-shaped solid, with the wall of the solid orientated towards the focal point (12) of the radiation source. The anti-scattering element (30) allows reducing the signal-to-noise ratio of scattered radiations received by the radiation detector (20). |
