abstract Disclosed are a silane compound of the general formula (1) described below, as well as a rubber composition including the same, and a tire. A silane compound of the general formula (1) is useful because of its ability to provide a silane compound comprising: a reactive functional group having a high reactivity with an organic polymer material such as rubber, and having a low polarity; and a hydrolyzable group having a high reactivity with an inorganic material such as silica or glass.n n(wherein R 1 and R 2 each independently represent hydrogen or an alkyl group; wherein R 1 and R 2 may form a crosslinked structure represented by -(CH 2 ) e -; R 3 and R 4 each independently represent hydrogen or an alkyl group; wherein R 3 and R 4 may form a crosslinked structure represented by -(CH 2 ) f -; R 5 is hydrogen or an alkyl group; R 6 is an alkoxy group, or an amino group substituted with one or more alkyl groups; R 7 is hydrogen or an alkyl group;a is an integer of 0 to 5; b is an integer of 0 to 5; c is an integer of 0 to 10; d is an integer of 0 to 30; e and f are each independently an integer of 1 to 5; n is an integer of 1 to 3; in cases where c = 0 and d = 2, at least one R 5 is an alkyl group).
