abstract The present invention concerns a homogeneous solid particle comprising calcium nitrate and micronutrients, in particular zinc in the form of a zinc nitrate, a particulate composition comprising said particles, a method for the manufacture thereof, and its use as a fertilizer, in particular for fertigation applications. In particular, the present invention provides a homogeneous solid particle comprising at least 50 weight% of calcium nitrate (calculated as Ca(NO3)2), 0 to 10 weight% of one or more of ammonium nitrate, potassium nitrate and sodium nitrate, and 0.01 to 0.2 weight% of at least one micronutrient, wherein at least one micronutrient is present as a nitrate salt.
