Providing a printing tape with better resistance to temperature and water (humidity) than conventional printing tape. A Printing tape 50 includes a heat-sensitive layer 592, a first protective layer 591, a second protective layer 593, and a first adhesive layer 581. The heat-sensitive layer 592 produces color at temperatures within a prescribed range. The first protective layer 591 is provided on the heat-sensitive layer 592. Light is allowed to transmit through the first protective layer. The second protective layer 593 is provided on the side of the heat-sensitive layer 592 opposite the first protective layer 591. The second protective layer 593 contains at least one resin selected from a group consisting of fluorine-based resins, silicone-based resins, olefin-based resins, polyester-based resins, epoxy/polyester-based resins, and silicon-based resins. The first adhesive layer 581 is provided on the side of the second protective layer 593 opposite the heat-sensitive layer 591. The first adhesive layer contains at least one adhesive selected from a group consisting of emulsion-type adhesive mixed with tackifying resin and containing acrylic polymer and rubber-based adhesive, silicone-based adhesive, and rubber-based adhesive. |
