titleOfInvention | Method for detecting protein-dna interaction |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for detecting the interaction between a protein and a DNA target sequence based on measuring the ionic current trough an alpha hemolysin nanopore and to a method for identifying a compound capable of modulating the interaction between a protein and a DNA target sequence. In addition, the invention relates to a kit comprising at least one protein, at least one DNA molecule, said DNA molecule comprising region and a dsDNA region, wherein the dsDNA region contains the DNA target sequence, and a planar lipid bilayer containing at least one alpha hemolysin nanopore, and to the use of said kit for detecting protein-DNA interaction and/or for identifying a compound capable of modulating protein-DNA interaction. |
