The present invention provides a composition comprising HMB. Methods of administering HMB to an animal are also described. HMB is administered to enhance recovery from soft tissue trauma, including both acute and non-acute soft tissue trauma. Enhanced recovery includes reduced recovery time and enhanced soft tissue healing. |
